To remove the in take manifold on the SHO. All I wanted to do was change my valve cover gaskets....
That intake is a hell of a thing. Heavy too.
Not nearly as sludgy as I was expecting. Cams look good too.

They’re cheap. Not a week after I bought his one I saw a safetied and e tested one for 1500 bucks.

Took me almost 5 to get the intake off my 280zx, the exhaust manifold has to come too and there are bolts in between the two manifolds (which are stacked on top of eachother)

Yeah. You definitely want the manual. The autos made a bit less HP because of different cams to work with the slusher. Mine was only $400 but it needed a lot of work. Still does really.

The 223 straight six in that old 59 Meteor is the same way. The intake and exhaust manifolds share the bolts on that side of the engine.
